7 Years of Impact: 45 Anganwadi Centres refurbished benefiting over 3,000 children

Marking seven years of partnership, HCL Foundation and United Way Bengaluru (UWBe) continue to drive meaningful change through the Born Learning Campaign, focused on creating nurturing and engaging early learning environments for young children.

Since 2019, the partnership has refurbished 45 Anganwadi Centres across Jigani and Srirampura, Bengaluru, benefiting over 3,000 children with improved infrastructure and enhanced learning spaces that support their holistic development.

As part of a recent field visit, Dr. Nidhi Pundhir, SVP, Global CSR, HCLTech & Director, HCLFoundation visited the Anganwadi Centres to witness the impact of the initiative firsthand and interact with children, Anganwadi workers, and community members. The visit highlighted the progress achieved through sustained collaboration and a shared commitment to strengthening early childhood development.

Together, HCLFoundation and UWBe remain dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to a safe and supportive environment during their formative years, creating opportunities for them to learn and grow.
