The Rotary Club of Anna Nagar Madras, in association with Aptus Value Housing and the ANYU Foundation, distributed 27 Pink Autos to women at the IMA Hall, Ambattur, with the objective of empowering women by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities.
The autos were funded by Aptus Value Housing and allocated to 27 women beneficiaries who were identified and trained by the ANYU Foundation. The initiative was coordinated and implemented by the Rotary Club of Anna Nagar Madras.
The event was graced by Mr. Anandan, Founder and Executive Chairman of Aptus Value Housing, and Rtn. Padma Anandan as the chief guests. Rotary District 3234 Governor Rtn. D. Suresh Jain and Dr. Annalakshmi, Founder of the ANYU Foundation, also presided over the function.
The programme was led by Rtn. Mallika Thiagarajan, President of the Rotary Club of Anna Nagar Madras; Rtn. Singaravel, Secretary; Rtn. Balasundaram, Director – Community Service Development; Rtn. Tarun Agarwal, Assistant Governor; along with Mr. Dayanidhi and Mr. Murali, representatives from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) division of Aptus Value Housing.
Several Rotary district officials, club members, and beneficiaries attended the event and appreciated this meaningful initiative aimed at empowering women through self-employment.
