SRM IST Directorate of Sports conducted India’s First Ever All India Ranking Swimming Meet on 11th Oct 2025 at Dr. T.R. Paarivendhar Aquatic Complex. This ranking meet attracted nearly 400 swimmers across India. Swimmers from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and from different parts of India participated in this mega event. This event will be conducted every second Saturday of all months, and at the end of the tenth month, the winners of each event will receive cash prizes, medals, and trophies. This competition will motivate the swimmers to keep themselves fit and maintain their peak performance to win the cash prizes and trophies throughout the year. Our founder chancellor’s vision is to give the youngsters a world-class Aquatics Complex and to produce Olympic champions from Tamil Nadu to represent India.
Special Attention was given to special children and conducted swimming competitions for them. 20 swimmers participated in the 50m Freestyle and won medals in different categories.
