TS Srinivasan Centre for Polytechnic College and Advanced Training (CPAT – TVS) was initially established as TS Srinivasan Centre for Vocational and Advanced Training (CVAT) in 1997 at Vanagaram. It was later upgraded to a Polytechnic College in 2006, receiving approval from AICTE, New Delhi. The institution is affiliated with the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.
CPAT is a part of the TVS Educational Society and is supported by M/s Sundaram Clayton, Lucas TVS, TVS Motor, Wheels India, TVS Electronics, and Sundram Fasteners.
The institution offers Sandwich Diploma programs in Mechanical Engineering (DME), Mechatronics Engineering (DMT), Robotics & Automation Engineering (DRA), and Computer Engineering & IoT (DCEIoT).
The 16th Graduation Day held on February 22, 2025, at the CPAT campus, where 73 students will be graduate.
The Prayatna Award for Best Performance will be awarded to students from economically weaker backgrounds who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, excellent behaviour, and discipline. The P J Thomas Endowment Award will recognize the best industry project, while the Award of Excellence (Rs. 50,000/-) will be presented to the best outgoing students from each department.
The institution has signed over 40 MOUs with MNCs and leading industries to ensure 100% industrial training and placement for all students. Additionally, for the past three years, students have received global training and employment opportunities in Singapore, Dubai, and Germany.
