VELAMMAL’S CHESS CHAMPION EXCELS AT THE INTERNATIONAL TOURNEY 

Master  V S Shashank, Std  7 of Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus has secured the First Prize at the SRM International Open FIDE  Rating Rapid Chess Tournament-2022 in the U-12 boys category with a score 5.5 in 8 rounds , held at SRM VDP Campus, Chennai recently. 

Master Shashank clinched his spectacular achievement among 583 players. This international level event was organised by SRCA & MMCA.
