Velammal Main School , Mogappair Campus hosted an awareness seminar on Effective Parenting held in CNR Hall of Excellence on 2nd July, 2022.
This seminar was presided by Dr. P. Devaraj ,Clinical Psychologist , Revamp hospital, Chennai and Dr. T. Kalaimathi, Implantalogist. They spoke at length on effective parenting, equipping parents with current information on child development and provided some useful parenting resources that could be of use to raise their kids. Further followed by an interactive session with the parents clearing their queries on child psychology and dental cavities. A broad insight on positive parenting and tips to overcome gadgets usage which is the need of the hour.
Several hundreds of parents actively participated in this session.This awareness was a proactive approach to raise awareness on effective parenting advocating the message that parenting is joyful.
