Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus organised an interactive awareness workshop on Diwali First Aid Measures for the Uniformed Services Students from Class 6 to 8 held in CNR Hall of Excellence on
20th October, 2022.
This seminar was presided by Dr. Chockalingam Srinivasan, MD, Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. He spoke at length on the Do’s and Don’ts to celebrate a happy and safe Diwali as it is absolutely imperative to ensure to take adequate safety measures to enjoy the season the way it is meant to be and ensure adequate safety measures to eliminate any untoward accidents. A mesmerizing dance performance and a thought provoking mime added colour to the session.
This awareness was a proactive approach to raise awareness among students to be aware of the hazards and risks while handling firecrackers.
