Chennai, October 2023: UAE’s favourite chai brand FiLLiCafé, which has also spread its wings in the US and UK, launched India’s first outlet at Ashok Nagar, Chennai on October 18, 2023 (Wednesday).
This 1,600 sq.ft. cafe was launched by Rafih Filli, Founder & CEO, FiLLi Café, and FiLLi’s Tamil Nadu franchisee partners S.Malarvizhi and K.Adithya, Avy Foods.
The first FiLLi Café had its humble beginnings in 2004 in Dubai when Rafih Filli took over his father’s café located in the Al Mamzar area. Rafih’s love for tea and innovation made him introduce a variety of tea during his takeover, and that went on to became one of his super-hit signature tea, the FiLLi Zafran.Transformed from a small cafe into a potent sensational brand now has established in countries like UAE, Canada, India, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UK, and USA.
Rafih’s innovative spirit and his love to serve customers with interesting chai flavours and dishes propelled the Café to new heights in different geographies. Fast forward to present, FiLLihas become UAE’s most admired chai brand and a cherished name among tea lovers in 6 countries and counting.
This reputed chain of cafeterias also serves Frappe Coffee, Madras Kaapi Shake, Iced Chai, Milkshakes, Lassi, Mocktails besides delicious Fillbunz, Bun Maska, Bun Kebab, Momos, Foodles, Lacha melt with Unique deserts like Mysore mud pie and baklawa cheese cake to name a few. FiLLi has both Veg and Non-Veg dishes and even a Kid’s menu too.
