SunnyBee Kickstarts Its Week-long Mango Mela with an exclusive Farmers Market 

Offering a fitting tribute to the season of Mangoes, SunnyBee – city’s most preferred food store kickstarted its week-long Mango Mela today with an exclusive Farmers Market. Displaying over nine varieties of mangoes from the house of Dezi Fresh, the native fresh fruits and vegetables brand that sources natural and garden-fresh produce from the finest groves across India. This farmers market also provided an opportunity for consumers to engage with farmers directly to know and understand the journey of the fruit. The SunnyBee Sandhai also had an interactive mango sampling counter for consumers to experience the distinctive flavors that each variety has to offer. As part of the week-long Mango Mela, all of 12 SunnyBee stores will house nine varieties of the orchard-fresh produce. 

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Sowmik Banerjee, Chief Operating Officer Retail Franchise, SunnyBee, said, “We are excited to be launching our week-long Mango Mela as part of our famous SunnyBee Sandhai. What better way to celebrate the King of fruits and the beautiful produce we have had this season.  SunnyBee is renowned for its quality, fresh produce and this Mango Mela is a testimony for the same. We have worked with farmers from across South India closely to source batches of produce to ensure supply of fruits throughout the summer season. I am confident that consumers will enjoy this week-long mango mela and relish the fresh produce that we have brought together.” 

Dezi Fresh offers a wide assortment of native fruits and vegetables to the global markets and extends the naturally grown fruits supply in India. The two-day SunnyBee Sandhai displays the sweetest range of mangoes just before the end of Mango season. This weekend’s edition of the Sandhai displayed a whole range of mangoes like Banganapali, Alphonso, Malgova, Neelapadi, Himampasanth, Jowarpasand, Mallika,Rumani, Sendura and Totapuri. SunnyBee Sandhai is an initiative from SunnyBee to offer consumers an opportunity to know the journey of the produce that they consume and hear it directly from the farmers.
