This Navaratri, Sruthi Kannath, is giving the city its first-ever art installation made out of blouses. The installation will feature a wide gamut of traditional and new-age styles and colours that reflect the mood of the goluseason.
The installation aims to shine the spotlight back on the meticulous art of hand-embroidery, as well as the evolving sensibilities of the modern bride, with her heart on heritage-inspired wedding wear and avant-garde fashion.
Featuring alongside is a super sale on our festive wear that includes intricately handcrafted blouses in cotton and silk.
As a brand built on the foundation to empower local craftsmen and communities, this Navaratri, SruthiKannath is taking its first steps towards a sustainable future with a series of *live interactions with (eco-friendly wedding planners, caterers, photographers and organic textile entrepreneurs) at our backyard every evening over sundal and coffee.
“We understand that the art of hand embroidery hasn’t gotten its due, and that’s why we’re creating a showcase out of some of our best craftsmen’s work,” says founder, Sruthi Kannath. “To us, a sustainable future begins with empowering local artisans and craftsmen, and thereby their communities.”
The Navratri gala begins on 26th September 10 am onwards at Sruthi Kannath store.
