Special achievers day 2022, an event for motivations the young champions of SRM institute of science and technology kattankulathur

This event was to appreciate the 48 champions from various sports events conducted in state and national levels which includes basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, athletica and chess. This event was addressed by Dr.R.Mohana krishana director of sports kattankulathur.
The champions includes many players from various sports events. The women basketball created an history by winning the 72nd senior basketball championship state level held at chennai nehru indoor stadium the are also fondly known as golden girls of SRM ist, two women basketball players who are also in the Telangana basketball state team won 36th National games held at Gujarat.
The volleyball boys of SRM created history by winning the 70th senior Tamilnadu state volleyball championship for consecutive years; they are proudly known as defending champions of SRM.
There were also champions in chess who won the Asian championship and they are called the grand masters and world grand masters. And many others from various sports events were present to receive the appreciation from the chancellor.
Chancellor of SRM gave out his congratulations to every champions words and handed over the gifts and incentives of rupees 5000 to each one
Dr.S.J.Albert Chandrasekhar ended the event with his vote of thanks. SRM will not only be known for its academics but also for its sports in the upcoming years.
