S.B.O.A. School Hosts Seminar on Holistic Learning for Parents

Chennai:

“Children have beautiful ways of learning; parents should learn with them”, said Mrs. Lalitha Ramanujan, Founder and Director of “Alpha to Omega,” during a seminar held at S.B.O.A. School and Junior College, Anna Nagar.

The SBIOA Educational Trust has always promoted the holistic development of all students in the education system. Under the aegis of Mr. A. Senthil Ramesh, Secretary and Correspondent, a seminar was arranged for the parents of Kindergarten and Primary classes.

Mr. Aditya Nair, a member of Madras Spice Round Table – 159, organized the seminar, which raised awareness about challenges children encounter while learning and how these obstacles hinder their development. The resource person, Mrs. Lalitha Ramanujan, shared valuable techniques and led an interactive session to help parents develop the necessary skills to tackle obstacles.

Smt. Sharadha Ramamurthy, Principal of S.B.O.A. School and Junior College, welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person and the other dignitaries.

Mrs Sakthi Lalitha Sri, a parent, said: “As a mother of a 4-year-old, I am thrilled to attend the seminar, which provided valuable insights on parenting, emphasizing the importance of daily interaction to nurture children and enhance cognitive thinking.”

Mr Vivek Mehta, the chairperson of MSRT-159, stated: “This conference is part of an ongoing initiative to create an inclusive world where everyone gets equal opportunities. The event provided vital understanding to parents on how they can empower their children to learn better.”
