Oxford University Press India in association with Chennai Sahodaya Schools Complex organizes Principals’ Meet on ‘Changing Dynamics in Education’ in Chennai

Chennai, November 2022: Oxford University Press India, a department of the prestigious University of Oxford, in association with Chennai Sahodaya Schools Complex organized a meet for the school principals and educationists in Chennai on the theme ‘Changing Dynamics in Education’.

Celebrating its 110 years in India, Oxford University Press (OUP) announced the launch of its new suite of blended learning solutions—OXFORD INSPIRE. Catering to students of grades 1 to 8, Oxford Inspire is India’s first competency based blended learning solution with ‘learner success’ at its core.  The launch witnessed the gracious presence of Prof. Kamakoti Veezhinathan, Director, IIT Madras; Mr. N. Ravi, Chairman, The Hindu Group of Publications; Smt A. Lakshmi Prabha, Vice Chairperson, Chennai Sahodaya School Complex, and Mr. Sumanta Datta, Managing Director, OUP India among other key dignitaries.

Prof. Kamakoti delivered a keynote on the Influence of Technology in Education and highlighted the scope of blended learning for greater reach, better learning outcomes and reshaping the classroom experience of learners.  Mr. N.Ravi, shared his views on Inclusiveness in Education for real learning opportunities for children at pan-India level.  The meet was also attended by the management and the member schools under the Chennai Sahodaya Schools Complex*. 

Highlighting the significance of blended learning product for new-age learning, Mr. Sumanta Datta, MD, OUP India said, “Edtech and digital learning have brought a revolutionary change in education space. OUP has always been the front runner in education and research and recognises the critical role that technology can play in making a breakthrough in the world of knowledge and learning.”
