Velammal Main campus in association with Greater Chennai Corporation, Department of Health under KALAIGNARIN VARUMUN KAPPOM THITTAM hosted a FREE MEGA HEALTH CAMP at Velammal Main School, Mogappair East campus on 27th March, 2022, which was open to all.
This gracious occasion was inaugurated by Mr. Joseph Samuel,MLA along with councillors from different wards.This day-long medical camp was to encourage people to be proactive about their health and make preventive tests a habit. A special team of Specialist Doctors, Consultants, Nurses and volunteers conducted free consultation services for Cardiac,
Orthopaedic, Paediatric, eye & dental checkup and many more. In addition to this, free Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, ECG Checkup was done, wherein this camp saw participation in large numbers across all age groups.
Velammal had undertaken this major initiative with the noble purpose of creating awareness among the people to lead a healthy life style.
