The Taare Zameen Pe title of the event started with greeting the children for children’s day and drawing competition was conducted among 120 students of the school.
Mrs Shilpa Katrela, chairperson, Madras Mylapore Ladies Circle 4 said, “ SAVE NATURE was their drawing theme given to the students from pre kg to 5th standard.
The children so enthusiastically participated and put their own pictures of their minds on paper. It was our pleasure to see such amazing art,by such tiny tots and drawings of their imaging which was just commendable.”
Round Table India and Ladies circle India distributed the stationary for the competition and gave away trophies to the winners in three categories. Also provided certificates to all the 120 students who participated in the drawing competition.
The judges for the drawing competition were Ms.Jagriti Gulecha -artist in wall paintings and teacher and Cr.Nida Irfan, teacher at KIDS CENTRAL.
Mr Rahul Chabbria, Chairman, Madras Mylapore Round Table 3, said, “One of a kind project where we left with a smiles and fulfillment. Just like the title ‘We did see Stars on Earth.”
