Gleneagles Hospital Chennai Honors 150 Teachers from 50 Schools and Colleges in Chennai Under Guru Devo Bhava Initiative

Chennai, September 22nd, 2024: In a heartwarming gesture of appreciation, Gleneagles Hospital Chennai organized a special event Guru Devo Bhava to felicitate school and College teachers in Chennai for the unwavering efforts of educators in shaping the future generation. Around 150 Teachers from 50 schools and Colleges in and around Chennai felicitated with mementos, awards and special health offers to the teachers. Doctors team spearheaded by Dr Subramanian Swaminathan, Sr Consultant – Infectious Diseases, Dr C Emmanuel, Director, Academics and Research: Dr Vivek Lal, Chief of Operations & Medical Services, Gleneagles Hospital Chennai presented the awards. 

Guru Devo Bhava initiative by Gleneagles Hospital Chennai aimed to highlight the importance of teachers in the community, especially during challenging times, when educators worked tirelessly to adapt to new teaching methods and continued supporting students and to strengthen community relations and promote a culture of mutual appreciation between various sectors of society.
