Delhi, April 2024: Fareportal, a leading global travel technology company, employing
2100 people at two major centres in Gurugram and Pune, has partnered with the National
Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) for their ‘Namami Gange Programme’, a project that
underscores Fareportal’s long-term commitment and support for initiatives aimed at
environmental conservation and community welfare.
‘Namami Gange Programme’ is an Integrated Conservation Mission, approved as a ‘Flagship
Programme’ by the Union Government in June 2014 to accomplish the twin objectives of
effective abatement of pollution, conservation, and rejuvenation of the national river Ganga,
to ensure its ecological integrity. In line with the company’s commitment to various socially
responsible causes, including climate change and environmental protection, Fareportal has
contributed Rs. 25 lakhs to the cause.
Fareportal has always extended support for underprivileged children’s education and
healthcare, assistance for children battling cancer, and aid for families affected by intellectual
and developmental disabilities. Glenn Cusano, President, comments, “Our support of NMCG
