Computerized Special interactive sports skill development lab has been officially inaugurated by Smt. ANJALI BHAWRA, IAS Secretary, Dept.ofEmpowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt.ofIndia and Chairperson of General Council, NIEPMD, along with Director Shri. NACHIKETA ROUT of NIEPMD & Deputy Registrar Dr. A. AMARNATH of NIEPMD. An innovative, initiative and interesting way to make difference in the lives of special children. FLASHFIT an Interactive Fitness Company has joined hands with National Institute for Empowerment of People with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) Chennai, to provide sports experience to the children with multiple disabilities In front of the Secretary the trainer of the sports lab have demonstrated the sports skill activity with special children using FLASHFIT Devices. She was so excited and happy about the lab Devices and appreciated the effort of the special children with limited range of motion, who enjoyed and freely moved their limbs using “FLASHFIT” Devices. These Interactive fitness devices have therapeutic and developmental importance which paves way for freedom of Success to Special Children.
This technology was innovated by FLASHFIT Team headed by A.P.Santhosh M.E , established by Mr.T.Ilayaraja BBA , and eventually turned in to company at Cuddalore . Shri. NACHIKETA ROUT of NIEPMD said, “in India this is the first time this technology innovated by “FLASHFIT”
The toil and moil of the “FLASHFIT” Team has evolved with the creation of FLASHFIT Devices, which can be used in three sectors, such as Health, Education and Sports.
Health: We provide rehabilitation and sensory integration activities to motivate special children for faster recovery rate.
Sports: We capture and provide performance result instantly with attributes related to athletics ability and movements helpful to improve adaptive sports.
Education : We help children to recover from following Difficulties
Listening and attending , Understanding and Responding , Lack of Motivation and Play, Following Instructions and routines, Anxiety and Resistance to change, Social Isolation and shyness, Challenging behavior and Early frustration behavior.
The Top most priority of the beneficiaries is the special children and it has been visualized today by the Secretary and Chairperson of GC, GoI, NIEPMD.The credit goes to the incessant encouragement and guidance of the NIEPMD Team.The mission of the FLASHFIT Team is to cover the entire Nation with Social responsibility and care. Flashfit devices create more opportunity to the God’s gifted children.
