The Police team led by the Assistant Commissioners of Police Tr.Rajkumar Samuel (Serious Crime Squad, South), Tr.Royappan Yesunesan (Serious Crime Squad, North), Tr.Ramesh (Arumbakkam range), and Inspectors of Police, SIs of Police and Police personnel conducted thorough investigation and monitored and arrested 20 accused including 1.Jayapal, 2.Chokkalingam @ Suresh, 3.Muthukumar @ Madhan, 4.Prasanna 5.Durairaj, 6.Rajprakash Godwin @ Rajkumar @ Thambidurai for hide in Thirumangalam with possessing Pistols and Knifs. 4 pistols, 84 bullets, 11 knives and 5 cars were seized from them. One Air gun, one Pistol and one DBBL were also seized.
On investigation it was revealed that the said accused were hiding with Pistols and Knives to take revenge on their enemies and the police team arrested the said accused in time and produced them in the court. It is noteworthy that due to the swift action of the above police team, a major crime incident was prevented.
Tr.Sandeep Rai Rathore, IPS., Commissioner of Police, GCP today (15.03.2024) personally invited appreciated and gave away rewards and certificates to the above good work done team of totalling 29 Police officers and personnel i.e., Assistant Commissioners of Police Tr.Rajkumar Samuel (Serious Crime Squad, South), Tr.Royappan Yesunesan (Serious Crime Squad, North), Tr.Ramesh (Arumbakkam range) and Inspectors of Police Tr.Sasirajan (SCS/East), Tr.Parthipan (SCS/West), Tr.Rathinakumar (V-5 Thirumangalam p.s./Crime), Sub-Inspectors of Police Tr.Kannadasan, Tr.Muhammad Imthadullah, Tr.Ganesan, Tmt.Shanthi, Head Constables Tr.Malaivel, Kannan, Karthik, Sundar, Abhilash, Shankar, Grade I Police Constables Tr.Saravanan, Veeramani, Sivaraman, Gr.II PCs Tr.Vinothkumar, Balaji, Arun, Irfan, Poovendan, Prabhu, Parthiban, Thirunavukarasu, Kathiravan and Jagan.
