~ The Chennaiite etched his name in the prestigious record books by reading 75 minds in just 30 minutes ~
Chennai, 2nd March 2023: Arun Loganathan, popularly known as ‘Arun the Mentalist’ is an International award winning Magician, an escape artist, an illusionist, a professional mentalist and a certified hypnotist. He sets the record for ‘Demonstrating the Art of Mentalism with Maximum People in 30 Minutes’ in Chennai recently.
In an attempt to read 60 minds in a span of 30 minutes, he ended-up reading 75 minds in 30 minutes and enters the “Asia Book of Records”. Mr.Vivek.R.Nair, the adjudicator had validated the performance and recognised it in ‘Strange but True’ category of the “Asia Book of Records”.
It’s a feat that is truly incredible and requires an immense amount of skill and concentration and has never been attempted before. These mind-bending acts kept the audience glued to their seats in awe.
Commenting on his achievement, Mr.Arun Loganathan said, “More than 2 decades of hard work, practice and constant effort to do something out of the box has helped me to attempt something like this. I am happy to achieve the record in my hometown but I don’t want to settle on the laurels and I am already thinking about my next breakthrough performance.”
Though he is a qualified law and management graduate, Arun’s endearing passion for magic & mentalism and his determination to achieve in that field made him take it up as a profession, despite having been attacked by polio at the tender age of one. He considered his disability as a motivational factor, soared higher and turned into an energetic and multi-talented person.
Arun’s achievements are vast and varied. His passion for his craft and his commitment to entertaining and inspiring people is what makes him stand out as a performer. Throughout his illustrious career, Arun has already achieved multiple records and is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is impossible.
As a socially responsible person, Arun with his art as a tool had worked for many health awareness campaigns. He’s the first Indian to win the Merlin Medal in Close-up Magic conducted in Bangkok in 2013 and also holds four India Book of Records.
