Chennai, 5th June 2024: Artium Academy, India’s leading online music learning platform, has launched its first offline center in Alwarpet, Chennai. Through the initiative, Artium aims to extend its high-quality music education services beyond the digital realm and into local communities. Offering music education using modern pedagogy, the launch marks the beginning of Artium’s plan to establish 50 offline centers across India in the next 12 to 18 months.
The new center in Alwarpet features a state-of-the-art performance arena equipped with the best-in-class instruments. These facilities are designed to enhance the learning experience by providing students with the opportunity to develop their performance and stage skills in a professional environment. The performance arena and all other facilities will be exclusively available to Artium students, ensuring a focused and immersive educational experience.

The opening of the Chennai center was graced by national award-winning playback singer & carnatic vocalist P. Unnikrishnanand Artium’s Chief of Pedagogy and renowned voice expert of India Mr. Ananth Vaidyanathan. Post the inauguration, both artists conducted a masterclass with the children, sharing their expertise and inspiring the young participants to kickstart their musical journeys. Embracing valued traditions and cultures, the Chennai center offers a diverse array of courses tailored to different musical interests. Vocal courses include Tamil Film Music, Carnatic Classical, Western Vocals, Karaoke & Stage Skills etc.. Instrument courses include Guitar, Piano, Keyboard and will be followed by more as the academy progresses. These comprehensive courses are taught by a team of 8 expert teachers, ensuring personalized and high-quality instruction.
