Chennai, 17 May 2024: SEEEDS (Service to Educate, Enrich, and Empower a Dream Society), an NGO founded in 2017 by Dr. Ramakrishnan, has announced a scholarship program to assist economically challenged students studying at government or government-aided institutions. The organization seeks applications from eligible children who want to make progress in life through education.
Following the announcement of the board results, the NGO began the application acceptance process. Every year, it accepts approximately 1500 applications, which are meticulously evaluated by volunteers and recognized panel members before selecting candidates for scholarships. The deadline for submitting applications is on office hours of May 31, 2024.
The NGO, led by a team of successful professionals from throughout the world, intends to provide financial assistance to deserving students and mentor talented students with limited or no financial resources, allowing them to pursue a higher education. SEEEDS currently assists over 600 students in 32 districts of Tamil Nadu. Many SEEEDS graduates have gone on to build successful careers in notable organizations and multinational companies both in India and abroad.
SEEEDS recognizes the distinctive needs of the children in the Sri Lankan Rehabilitation camp and understands that they require special attention for their entire growth and enhancement. These youngsters have specific emotional demands and a lower emotional quotient than typical students. As a result, SEEEDS is committed to offering special assistance to these children, supporting them in building not just their personalities but also their professions with diligence and precision.
Who can apply?
• Students who have completed 10th or 12th standard from a government or government-aided school.
• Students from economically weaker background
• Orphans or students with single parent
• Students from Sri Lankan Refugee camps
