A resident of Mudukulathur district in Tamil Nadu bagged 2 Gold and 1 bronze in Asian sports.

Kamatchi is a Ph.D Scholar in Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research, (Deemed to be University Chennai.  She won 2 Gold medal in Traditional and Group event, 1 bronze medal in Artistic pair event in 2nd Asian Yogasana Sports Championship 2023 organized by Yogasana Sports Federation of Thailand collaboration with Yoga Sports Federation of India under auspices of Asian Sports Yogasana Federation and Sharvaya Yoga International. 

 The Championship took place in Bangkok, Thailand on 24th,25thand 26thJune 2023. The competition ended with a spectacular closing ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand attended by various higher authorities from different countries. 

With this historic triumph, Yoga Kamatchi had set a new standard by making this competition one of the biggest events in the field of Yoga, where competitors from 12 countries took part in this championship including India, India, Vietnam, Hongkong, China, Thailand, Iran, etc. 

The competition was intense and by returning with 3 medals, Yoga Kamatchi has started a new chapter in the history of Yoga in India. This proves Yoga kamatchi dedication and commitment to yoga. It is also a motivation for rural talents in India.
