Dr. Bhargav Mallappa, Chairman of the Akhila Sevak Samaj Council (ASSC), has extended his heartfelt congratulations to senior Congress leader and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on being chosen as the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) Leader and the next Chief Minister of Karnataka.
Congratulating Shivakumar on his elevation to the state’s highest executive office, Dr. Mallappa said the decision reflects the immense trust and confidence reposed in his leadership, organizational capabilities, and unwavering commitment to public service. He expressed confidence that Karnataka would continue to witness inclusive growth, social progress, and economic development under Shivakumar’s stewardship.
Recalling his long association with the Congress party at the grassroots level in Karnataka, Dr. Mallappa said he had closely observed Shivakumar’s political journey and his strong connect with party workers and citizens across the state.
“Shri D.K. Shivakumar has worked tirelessly for the people of Karnataka and demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout his public life. His understanding of grassroots issues and dedication to development make him well-positioned to lead the state forward. I extend my best wishes to him for a successful and impactful tenure as Chief Minister,” Dr. Mallappa said.
Dr. Mallappa, who also serves as National Deputy Chairman of the People Forum of India (NBSS), has been actively involved in grassroots development initiatives benefiting rural communities across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. Through education, healthcare, farmer empowerment, and social welfare programmes, he has contributed to improving the lives of thousands of people.
He expressed hope that the new government would continue prioritizing rural development, farmer welfare, youth empowerment, quality education, and accessible healthcare for all sections of society.
