The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has announced the office bearers of the FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council for the year 2025–2026.
Dr. GSK Velu, Chairman and Managing Director – Trivitron Group of Companies, NeubergDiagnostics, Maxivision Eye Hospitals & Mentor, Director and Shareholder – Kauvery Group of Hospitals & Honorary Consul to the Republic of Estonia in India, has been re-appointed as the Chairman, FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council for the year 2025-2026.
Dr. Velu is a renowned healthcare entrepreneur and industry leader with decades of experience in building affordable, high-quality healthcare solutions. He has played a pivotal role in strengthening India’s healthcare manufacturing and diagnostics ecosystem and is widely recognized through numerous national and international accolades.
Mr. Bhupesh Nagarajan has been re-appointed as Co-Chairman, FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council forthe year 2025–2026. He is the Founder and Chairman, Indira Group of Companies, and Managing Director – Advisory, Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute, UAE, with operations across India, Singapore, Maldives, Malaysia, and the UAE.
Mr. Bhupesh Nagarajan is a first-generation entrepreneur with diversified interests across engineering, construction, property development, hospitality, shipping, logistics, exports, and technology. He actively advises and mentors emerging ventures and works closely with national and international organizations on infrastructure and development initiatives.
Dr. Ashok G. Verghese has been appointed as Co-Chairman, FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council for the year 2025–2026. He is Vice President, Hindustan Group of Institutions and Pro-Chancellor,Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science.
Dr. Verghese is a distinguished academic leader known forstrengthening industry- academia collaboration, promoting applied research, and advancing innovation- driven and sustainable education initiatives. He actively contributes to FICCI’s education and policy initiatives in Tamil Nadu.
