Jeevidham Awards to honour persons with disabilities

Jeevidham Awards 2025 & 8th Annual Ceremonyon the theme “Fostering Disability-Inclusive Societies for Advancing Social Progress”, a prestigious initiative honouring the exceptional achievements of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) across Tamil Nadu, was held in a grand manner at Vidya Sagar in Kotturpuram, Chennai, on Saturday with a galaxy of people gracing the event and praising the organiserswholeheartedly for their humanitarian efforts to help the people who needed their support for a dignified living.

18 categories

Spanning 18 categories, the awards celebrated Excellence, Empowerment, and Inclusion recognizing individuals who inspired change through their talent, resilience, and social contribution.


Creating an inclusive society – Jeevidham Trust, a charitable organization established in 2018, is committed to creating an inclusive society through education and empowerment. The Trust supports children, tribal communities, orphans, the elderly, and PwDs.

Key initiatives

Its key initiatives included tuition centers, nutrition programs, and community outreach. Over 19,000 lives have been impacted, with a strong focus on empowering PwDs.


Prestigious initiative

The Jeevidham Awards- 2025, which recognized the outstanding achievements of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in Tamil Nadu, celebrated their excellence in Sports, Education, Innovation, Arts, 

Entrepreneurship and Social leadership. It honoured the resilience, talent, and contributions of PwDs across diverse sectors. 

Chief guests

The chief guests of the function included: 

R Nataraj, IPS (Retd),  Dr T Bakyaraj, CEO, Pride Group of Hospitals, Mr Ravindranath Singh G, Deputy Director, State Commissionerate for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, Govt of Tamil Nadu, Mr M JawaharMahalingam, Joint Director, Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health, Govt of Tamil Nadu, Mr R S Raveendran, Advocate, High Court of Madras, and Mr Jesuin John Bose, Programme Head-MSW in Disability & Empowerment, Madras School of Social Work.

The award categories included: 

Lifetime Achievement Award; Para Champion Award; Innovation Award; Kalaimamani Award; Entrepreneurial Excellence Award; Inclusive Leadership Award; Health and Wellness Award; Education & Teaching Excellence Award; Digital Excellence Award; Social Impact Award; Social Change Maker Award; Inclusive Sports Coach Award; Trailblazer Youth Award; Record Holder of the Year Award; Rural Empowerment Award; Arts & Crafts Excellence Award; Voice of the People Award and Humanitarian Excellence Award.

Total 18 awards were presented to different peoples under various categories  to name a few :  Jeevitham Lifetime achievement award to  Mr.Simachandran , Founder  President Tamil Nadu Differently abled Charitable trust. Jeevitham Humanitarian Excellence award to Mr.S

Sankara Raman , Hon Secretary , Amar seva Sangam, Tenkasi . Jeevitham Social Impact award to Ms.ElizabethDorothy J, Former Project In charge V.R.V Boarding Home for Girls, Ranipet.

Inspiring role models

Each award aimed to highlight empowerment, inclusion, and positive societal impact. The program showcased inspiring role models who broke barriers and made change. It is a tribute to their determination, skill, and service to the community.
