Chennai, November, 2023: Ahead of Christmas celebrations, hotel Holiday Inn Chennai OMR IT Expressway kicked off the holiday season by hosting its annual ‘Cake Mixing Ceremony’. Guests, along with hotel team, rolled up their sleeves and participated in a hearty mixing of dry fruits and nuts for plum cakes with premium spirits.
The annual cake mixing event began as the hotel’s talented chefs led the celebration and the guests had the opportunity to don the chef hats and aprons, mixed a variety of colourful and aromatic ingredients, like cashew nuts, raisins, figs, almonds etc, along with candied orange peel and ginger with lots of fine spirits contributing to the creation of the signature Christmas cakes that Holiday Inn Chennai is known for.
“We were thrilled to kick off the holiday season with our Christmas Cake Mixing Celebration. It was a joyous occasion for families, friends, and our valued guests to come together and create lasting memories,” said by Divakar Shukla, General Manager, Holiday Inn Chennai.
The soaked dry fruits and other ingredients will be left to infuse for at least 30 days before they are used to create delightful plum cakes and other baked goods.
