Chennai, October 26th, 2022: A 46-year-old woman underwent emergency abdominal surgery at Promed Hospital, Kottivakkam, Chennai. A 6kg fibroid noncancerous tumor was removed from her abdomen. The patient had an enlarged stomach, significant abdominal pain, and a history of high vaginal blood flow during her monthly menstrual cycle over the years.
