Chennai, January 2025: The Indo-Russian Cultural and Friendship Society in collaboration with Russian House is organizing 22nd Russian Dance Festival 2025 across the cities – Chennai, Coimbatore, Mettupalayam, Erode, Tiruchengode, Trichy and Sivakasi from January 17 to February 3, 2025. The inauguration was held today at Russian House Chennai.
Dr.Padma Subramaniyam today inaugurated the 22nd Russian Dance Festival 2025 in the presence of Mr. Valery Khodzhaeb – Consul General, Russian Consulate General in South India, Padmabhusan Dr. Sivathanu Pillai, Father of BrahMos, Mr. Alexander Dodonov, Vice Consul & Director, Russian House, Mr. P. Thangappan, Secretary General, Indo-Russian Cultural & Friendship Society and Mr. T. R. Paarivendhar, SRM University chancellor.
The festival features an exciting array of traditional and contemporary Russian dance performances, highlighting the grace, passion, and skill inherent in Russia’s rich dance heritage. The event brings together renowned Russian dancers, offering Chennai’s art lovers a unique opportunity to experience Russia’s artistic traditions up close.
