Coimbatore: Oben Electric, India’s fastest-growing R&D-driven electric motorcycle manufacturer, has marked its entry into Coimbatore with the inauguration of its first showroom in the city. Backed by a dedicated Oben Care service centre, the new facility is set to provide riders in Coimbatore and nearby regions with improved access to high-performance electric motorcycles and dependable after-sales support.
Strategically located on Trichy Road, Opp to KIA Showroom, Near Krishna Colony, Coimbatore, the showroom inauguration was graced by chief guest Mr. Selva Thangam, Dy Superintendent of Police, Prohibition Enforcement, Coimbatore District, and guest of honour Mr. Srilasri Dhayanidhi Anbu Sivanesan Adigalaar, Mankandeswar Thirumadaalayam, Pollachi, along with other dignitaries.
With this launch, Oben Electric’s retail network in Tamil Nadu expands to five locations, adding Coimbatore to its existing presence in Theni, Salem, Karaikudi and Cuddalore. The company aims to further strengthen its footprint in the state by establishing a total of 10 showrooms by the end of CY2026. On a national level, Oben Electric operates over 100 showrooms across 85+ cities, including key markets such as Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Kochi, and Bengaluru, and is working towards building a network of over 500 retail and service touchpoints across India over the next two years.
This expansion comes amid growing demand for the Rorr EZ Sigma, Oben Electric’s next-generation commuter electric motorcycle engineered to meet the evolving expectations of Indian riders in terms of performance, durability, and everyday usability.

The Rorr EZ Sigma on display at the Coimbatore showroom comes in 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh battery configurations, delivering a range of up to 175 km (IDC) and a top speed of 95 km/h. The motorcycle comes equipped with three riding modes, Eco, City, and Havoc, allowing riders to tailor performance to different conditions. Built on Oben’s proprietary LFP battery technology, it offers 50 percent higher heat resistance and 2x lifecycle durability, ensuring consistent performance across diverse Indian climates. Additional features include Reverse Mode for easier handling, along with a 5-inch colour TFT display that supports navigation, call and message alerts, and seamless app integration via the Oben Connect App. This connectivity suite enables functionalities such as Geo-fencing, Smart Alerts, and Remote Diagnostics, enhancing the overall riding experience.
Electric motorcycle enthusiasts in Coimbatore can now experience the Rorr EZ Sigma firsthand at the showroom, with prices starting at ₹1,09,999. The motorcycle is also available for convenient online booking through leading e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.
Further strengthening its ownership experience, Oben Electric offers round-the-clock customer assistance and efficient service turnaround, with an exceptional 90% issue-resolution rate within 72 hours. Each showroom is backed by trained platinum-certified technicians who specialize in servicing all in-house developed components, including batteries, motors, and control systems.
