SKY–ATHLETICA 2026 is the CHENNAIS AMIRTA AVIATION CAMPUS ANNUAL SPORTS MEET and had a grand launch by Popular Actor–Host Ma Ka Pa Anand who was the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries from the college included R. Boomeenaathaan, Chairman – Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions along with Dean – Academics – Suren Thulasiram, Vice Principal – Dr. Rahul, and Academic Coordinator – Mr. Arun. Held at the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, it featured two days of sporting events that culminated in a glittering prize distribution ceremony where Ma Ka Pa Anand distributed the medals and trophies to winners.
Speaking at the event, R. Boomeenaathaan, Chairman – Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions said, “Sports teaches us lessons that classrooms alone cannot. Discipline, teamwork, resilience and the spirit to rise up and take effort again even after a fall. At Chennais Amirta Aviation Campus, we believe in shaping not just professionals for the skies, but strong individuals with character and confidence. SKY–ATHLETICA 2026 is a celebration of that spirit.”
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the Olympic Torch by the Chief Guest, Actor–Host Ma Ka Pa Anand who also flagged off the prestigious 4×100 metres relay race. There were Gymnastics and Silambam performances by State and National Level players sshowcasing remarkable agility, strength, and tradition. Other events included Volleyball, Kabaddi, Throwball besides Volleyball, Kabaddi, Throwball and Sprints reflecting the vibrant sporting spirit and enthusiastic participation of over 500 students. The strong crowd cheered them on.
Chennais Amirta International Institute of Aviation offers world class aviation education with state-of-art facilities. It has a mini airport on the sprawling 45000 sq. ft. campus which helps students simulate real life situations especially In-flight Training. Students passing out have made a mark across the globe and literally fly high.
