Rainbow Children’s Hospital Marks Women’s Day with Music and Community Run in Chennai

Chennai, March 10, 2026: Marking International Women’s Day, over 5000 participants from across the city came together for a series of engaging community activities organised by Rainbow Children’s Hospital and BirthRight by Rainbow Hospitals in Chennai, promoting women’s health, wellness, and empowerment.

The initiative began on March 7 with a lively Women’s Day music event at Uptown Kathipara, where attendees enjoyed an energetic evening featuring live band performances, engaging activities, and interactive sessions. The gathering drew enthusiastic participation from women and families, creating a vibrant atmosphere highlighting the spirit and achievements of women.

Continuing the initiative, the Women’s Day Run 2026 was held early morning on March 8 at Phoenix Marketcity Chennai, organised by Vamos Run Club and powered by BirthRight by Rainbow Hospitals. The run saw strong participation from fitness enthusiasts and community members who gathered to support the message of women’s health, fitness, and active living.

Participants also enjoyed post-run activities including a DJ session, physiotherapy support points, and a finisher photo booth, adding to the energy of the morning.
