Chennai / June 19, 2025: The Hindustan Group of Institutions (HGI) commemorated the 85th Founders Day of its visionary founder, the late Dr. K.C.G. Verghese, with a momentous celebration at the MGR Auditorium on June 19, 2025. The event marked a significant milestone with the dedication of the Founder’s Chancellor’s Block – Dr. Elizabeth Verghese Centre for Excellence and Empowerment, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and student empowerment.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Thiru T. Mano Thangaraj, Minister of Milk and Dairy Development, Government of Tamil Nadu, and Guest of Honour Rt. Rev. Dr. Gregorios Mar Stephanos Episcopa, Bishop of Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, in the presence of Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chairman, HGI and other dignitaries from the Group.
Thiru T.
