Historic visit of National President JFS Ankur Jhunjhunwala to Tamil Nadu

Chennai: JCI India National President JFS Ankur Jhunjhunwala made a historic visit to Tamil Nadu with an official tour from April 8-11, landing at Chennai on April 8 for attending events in the state on April 9 and 10.

First, on April 9, he met JCI members (Area D, Zone 16) in Chennai and interacted with them along with stakeholders across various districts, fostering growth and progress within the organization.

A press conference was also organized by JCI Chennai Harmony represented by its President Jc Kanchana Vivek during the visit.

Addressing the JCI members, NP Jhunjhunwala said that he is happy to be in Chennai as it has the second longest beach in the world called Marina beach. He noted that Fort St George was the first fort built by the British in India.

He said that he is happy to have conquered the hearts of JC members in Chennai and eulogized their fantastic project works impacting the lives of the people around with a plea for the maximum participation of each and every member apart from building a culture of discipline in whatever they do.

He also said that focus should be given on training areas and the different activities that are happening, besides reaching out to students of schools and colleges and disseminating information to the people by using the media with a focus on taking the JCI mission to every single person and Chennai can do it.

He wanted the JCI members to take pride in whatever they do and create a positive image on that count.

On the afternoon of April 9, he met with JCI members from Ranipet, Walajahpet and Arcot. That evening, he met Jaycees from Vellore, Ambur, Pallikonda, and Vaniyambadi areas.

On the second day of the programme on April 10, he interacted with Jaycees of Tiruvannamalai along with Jaycees of Tirupattur, Dharmapuri, Karur, and Krishnagiri in the Uthangarai area.
In the evening, he met Hosur Jaycees and stayed in Hosur that night.

On the third day of the programme, on the morning of April 11, he left for Bangalore.

JCI India ,Zone 16 , Zone President JFM N. Vignesh and Regional Training Director and NP Ambassador JFD M R. Vijayaganesh participated in the events in Tamil Nadu.

The National President mostly discussed the growth and development of the movement.

During his visit, it was expected that JCI India members and Non Jaycee members could donate between Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 1 lakh. They would be receiving certificates, special prizes , and trophies in recognition of their contribution. The funds collected would support the educational expenses of underprivileged children.
