
On March 15, 2025, a Mega Human Chain Awareness program, titled “போதை இல்லா தமிழ்நாடு – 2025” (Tamil Nadu Free from Addiction – 2025), was convened by Dream Kalam in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) of the University of Madras. This event, held at 6:30 AM in Besant Nagar, Chennai, brought together approximately 3,000 students who participated in forming a human chain while holding a fabric banner endorsed by two lakh students, thereby promoting the cause of addiction-free Tamil Nadu.
Nearly 3,000 students took part in the event, with 60 NSS students from Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women actively participating.
The programme was attended by esteemed guests, including Dr. J. Vijayarani IAS, Dr. A. Amalraj IPS, Dr.Vaneeta Aggarwal, Tr. P. Sakilan, and Dr. Rithik Balaji.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of an addiction-free society, promoting a healthier and more responsible lifestyle among the youth.
