Namratha Sathyanarayanan, a disciple of Smt. Prarthana Sai Narasimhan, performed the one-hour ‘mikeless’ performance on August 07, 2022 as part of Sundaram Finance’s monthly series. It happened in Nageswara Rao Park in Mylapore from 7 a.m to 8 a.m.
She presented a melodious performance with kritis composed by the doyens of carnatic music. Having commenced her musical journey 7 years back, she has won accolades in many school culturals. She was accompanied by Avantika Saravanan on violin and Anirudh on mridangam.
This monthly series, conducted on the first Sunday of each month, aims to develop and nurture talented youngsters. Sundaram Finance gives the young music prodigies an opportunity to perform in the presence of many music lovers, friends, and relatives. At the end of the kutcheri, all of the artists received awards and mementos for further encouragement.
