SRM Institute of Science and Technology College of Management Ramapuram organized Strartupreneur Award on 06-04-2023 with the aim of honouring the achievements of startupreneurs and to motivate the student community towards entrepreneurship
Dr.C.Sundar, Dean (Management studies) addressed the gathering and welcomed the honourable dignitaries. He also highlighted the scenario of entrepreneurship in India and Unicorn status for growing startup entrepreneur.
Honorable Chairman Dr.R.Shivakumar, SRM Group of Institutions, Ramapuram & Trichy Campus delivered special address by highlighting the project day organized by SRM Group of Institutions at Ramapuram campus students to motivate the entrepreneurship among students community and also insist the importance of strengthening incubation centre at college .
The felicitation address was given by Dr.N.Sethuraman, Chief Director , SRM Group of Institutions, Ramapuram & Trichy campus spoke about how to face challenges which comes with the talent , startup involves a lot challenges. He also encourage students should be a job creator.
Dr.V.Subbiah Bharathi, Director, SRM Institutions Science & Technology , Ramapuram felicitated the gathering and quoted “Thirukkural” by focusing on five points that are important for entrepreneurs such as Money, Technology, Timing, Type of Business and Market. He also mentioned the contributions of young entrepreneurs to the development of Nation.
Keynote address was delivered by Shri Satyakam Arya, Managing Director and CEO, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd, summarize the importance of celebrating entrepreneurs and suggested few points to stratupreneur such as
- Differentiate yourself
- Avoid traps
- Stay discipline in funding and spending
- Collaboration and partnership
- Connect with eco system to sustainable
Shri Satyakam Arya also spoke about the business of Daimler which was the first company to invent car ,trunk ,Bus. Bharatbenz was one of the influencing transport in India .
The dignitaries honoured the awardees from sectors like health care, IT, SaaS, construction, manufacturing, e- commerce, aerospace , etc..,
Vote of thanks was given by Dr.K.Priya, Co-Convenor of Startupreneur Award thanking the members of the event and management for the opportunity given by exchanging the gratitude.
