SRM Arts and Science College hosted University of Madras’ A-Zone Hockey and Ball Badminton Tournament on 9th October 2023. As many as 12 and 10 teams participated in Ball Badminton and Hockey matches respectively in the Tournament. The tournament was kick started with inaugural function which was attended by around 300 players, Teams’ Coaches and Managers of various teams of the Colleges. The Hockey Trophy of the tournament was won by SRM Arts and Science Collegedefeating Loyola College in the final and Guru Nanak College secured the third place. The Ball Badminton Trophy was won by Loyola College defeating SRM Arts and Science College in the final and RVJ College secured the third place. Dr. R. Desingurajan, Convener of the University A-Zone Tournament congratulated the players for their participation and performance. The Winners Trophies and Prizes were given away by Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, Principal, SRM Arts and Science College.
