Chennai, February, 2024: – Kids Care Rehab Center and Physio Care, a leading provider of early health intervention services for children conducted a successful free medical screening camp at their Gowdia Mutt Road, Royapettahcenter, today. The event aimed to provide comprehensive screening for Autism, ADHD, Developmental Delays, and Learning Disabilities in children, offering valuable insights to parents and caregivers.
Over 100 children benefitted from the expert medical screening conducted by Dr. Radha Balachandar, Director, Kids Care Rehab Center and her team. The screenings covered a spectrum of developmental concerns, allowing parents to gain early insights into their child’s health.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Chief Guest Rtn. Dr. Edward Fench, a distinguished figure in the field of social service. Guest of Honours, Dr. Maria Fatima Josephine and Rtn. Mary Amritha Raj, added their expertise and support to the initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Radha Balachandar, Consultant Developmental Physiotherapist, Psychological counsellor and founder of Brain2Act Program said, “Early identification is crucial for children with developmental challenges. This camp aimed to empower parents with the knowledge and support they need to help their children reach their full potential.”
A free parental training and interactive session was conducted addressing common concerns and strategies for supporting children with developmental challenges.
