Celebrate the monsoon season with a menu crafted from the freshest seasonal ingredients, offering guests a unique and immersive dining experience from the 29th January till 2nd of February, 2025, at Stix.
Stix, known for its exceptional Southeast Asian cuisine, is offering an immersive experience that highlights the rich culinary heritage of countries bordering the Mekong River. From the aromatic dishes of Vietnam to the bold flavors of Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia, the Mekong Culinary Adventureshowcases a unique menu inspired by traditional recipes and local ingredients.
The menu highlights diverse flavors and culinary craftsmanship like Amok Trei, a Khmer steamed fish curry (amok) with a mousse like consistency, considered one of Cambodia’s national dishes. Sai Ua,a type of fresh sausage that is commonly found throughout the Laos, northern region of Thailand, made with pork, chicken or mushroom and a large quantity of fresh aromatics such as lemongrass, galangal, garlic, and makrut lime leaf. The sausage is complex, herbal, rich, and extremely aromatic.
Thai shrimp paste fried rice, is made with super umami shrimp paste, and tossed with sweet caramel pork, crunchy vegetables, and a squeeze of lime to brighten everything up. It is a dish that explodes flavors and textures in ways you probably have never experienced.
