Easwari Engineering College, Chennai INAUGURATION OF 1ST YEAR U.G. & P.G. PROGRAMMES  (2023- 2024) 

Chennai, 14^th September 2023 : The Inaugural function of first year U.G. & P.G. programmes (2023-2024)of Easwari Engineering College, Chennai  held at TRP Auditorium, in Easwari Engineering College,   Ramapuram, Chennai. Mr. R. Senthil Kumar, Dy. Director, MSA / Outstanding Scientist, SDSC SHAR, ISRO was the Chief Guest and Other noted presence included  Mr. S. Balasubramaniyan, Associate Vice President, Cognizant and  Mr. S. Niranjan, Co-Chairman, SRM Group of  Institutions Chennai Ramapuram and Trichy presided over the ceremony.

Mr. R. Senthil Kumar Dy. Director, MSA / Outstanding Scientist, SDSC SHAR, ISRO, motivated and welcomed the First Year Engineering students and shared his experiences as an

Engineering student and his days as a young scientist in the ISRO. He emphasised that students should develop original thinking in spite of getting various inputs from their peers, parents and teachers. He also conveyed that ISRO is able to reduce the cost of space missions because of the adequate talents available in India at Affordable cost. 

Mr. S. Balasubramaniyan, Associate Vice President, Cognizant in his special address urged the students to keep up with the changing trends in engineering and take their studies in to utmost importance. Inspired the student with real life examples and motivated them to develop their communication skills and maintain discipline throughout their life. 

Mr. S. Niranjan, Co-chairman, SRM Group of Institutions ( Chennai Ramapuram & Trichy) delivered the presidential address by urging the students to concentrate more on improving their skills to match that of a professional’s and to polish their understanding of the basic subjects to boost their knowledge of engineering subjects that they will face in the upcoming years of their academics. 

Dr.Sethuraman, Chief Director, SRM Group of Institutions (Chennai Ramapuram & Trichy) , Dr. V. Subbiah Bharathi, Director,   SRM Group of Institutuion (Chennai Ramapuram & Trichy), Dr.R.S.Kumar , Principal, Easwari Engineering College, Students along with parents and staff’s were present during the function.  The function concluded with recital of National Anthem.
