Chennai, Tamil Nadu – 06th February 2025: As India advances its Swachh Bharat Mission to new heights, the focus on robust waste management practices has become more critical than ever. Recognizing the need for collective action, the Action Alliance for Recycling of Beverage Cartons (AARC) is set to host its National Workshop cum Exhibition on Waste Management: Beyond Compliance, Towards Circularity on 18th February 2025 at Taj Wellington Mews, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
This national-level event will serve as a dynamic platform, bringing together key stakeholders from government bodies, leading brands, producers, waste management agencies, plastic waste processors, academia, and research institutions. The objective is to foster meaningful dialogue on innovative and sustainable solutions to strengthen India’s waste management ecosystem with a focus on the paper-based Beverage Cartons
Speaking about the event, Mr. Cassio Simoes, Chairman of AARC, and Managing Director – Tetra Pak, South Asia said, “At AARC, we believe that a sustainable future can only be built through collaboration and innovation. Participants will engage in discussions on the latest technologies, policy frameworks, and industry best practices aimed at supporting national waste management goals beyond mere regulatory compliance.
