A WALK AGAINST CORRUPTION ~Indian Overseas Bank culminates Vigilance Awareness Week observance with a Walkathon ~

Chennai, November 6, 2022: On the last day of the Vigilance Awareness Week being observed from October 31, 2022 to November 6, 2022, Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) today organised a Walkathon at Besant Nagar Beach in the city. The theme for the Vigilance Awareness Week this year is ‘Corruption free India for a developed Nation’.

The occasion was graced by Tmt. S. Amirtha Jothi, I.A.S., District Collector, Chennai. She, alongwithShri Partha Pratim Sengupta, Managing Director & CEO, Indian Overseas Bank flagged off the Walkathon in the presence of Executive Director, Smt. S. Srimathy and Chief Vigilance Officer Shri R. Balasubramanian and the bank’s General Managers, Deputy General Managers, Assistant General Managers, Regional Managers (Chennai I & II) and other staff members.

Around 150 members participated in the Walkathon.
