WORKSHOP ON ‘ROLE OF STUDENTS IN DEVELOPING ROCKETS & SATELLITES HELD @ VELAMMAL’

Velammal Main school, Mugappair Campus, hosted a workshop on ‘Role of students in developing Rockets And Satellites’ for Class 6 to 8 students on Saturday (09.11.19). The workshop was presided by ISRO Scientist and Deputy Project Manager Shri D Gokul.

The session highlighted the development of rockets and satellites with video clippings, presenting an insight into the present state of space technology and its future growth.

The session also imparted basic knowledge on space science and its applications, with an intent to arouse interest among the young ones in the emerging areas of space activities

A Q&A session was organised at the end as the students had a healthy interaction with the ISRO Scientist.
