The Medical Doctors are called upon to make life and death decisions, every day. With the great advances in Medical Technology and Biomedical Engineering, newer ethical issues are emerging. The doctors are at a loss, and do not know how to take critical decisions. Thus, there is an increasing need to adequately train them in Bioethical issues e.g. dignity and rights of every human being, their duties etc.
Bioethics is a study of such issues. Bioethical training is essential for the practice of medicine. The medical students, research scholars and medical teachers must be trained in bioethical principles.
