SENIORITY EXPANDS RETAIL FOOTPRINT WITH ITS FIRST EXPERIENCE STORE IN CHENNAI

Chennai, June, 2019: Seniority, India’s largest shopping destination for senior citizens, announced the launch of its first retail outlet in Chennai in association with CareFinder, a provider of elderly care, assisted living arrangements and senior care services. With this expansion, Seniority will cater to the thriving senior citizen community by providing quality products with robust customer service initiatives.
Further to the successful store launches in Pune,Coimbatore and Bhiwadi,Seniority’s fourth store in Chennai will offer a seamless in-store experiencewith an innovative range of products for all seniors and their caregivers. According to the India Ageing Report 2017 published by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), more than 11% of the 60+ age group is based in Tamil Nadu, making it the second highest senior citizen populated state in the country.

Recent studies suggest that the 60+ age group is the fastest growing population in the country, growing at 4% year-on-year as compared to the national population growth of 2% year-on-year.
