Crescent School of Business hosted ‘Ops 4.0’ – Inaugural Operations Conclave

Chennai, October 2017: Crescent School of Business (CSB), Chennai’s new and unique management school hosted its flagship Operations conclave, ‘Ops 4.0’, in Chennai on 13th October 2017. With an overwhelming number of participants from among students and industry professionals, the one day conference focused on the theme “Operations in a Digitally Disrupted World”. The event focused on the latest advancements in Operations, specifically in the four emerging trends of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things and Robotics.

The keynote address was presented by Mr.S.Krishna Kumar, Retd.Sen.VP, Lucas TVS – IIM Ahmedabad, and University of Michigan, followed by speakers from the industry like Mr.AnandSampathraman,Head – Asset & Energy Management Solutions, TCS, Mr.SelvarajGanesan, Principal Architect – IIM Leadership Program,Mr.Pandiarajan, Industry Principal, Infosys, Mr.Ajit Mathai, Director – Deloitteand many more. The event was a mix of lectures interspersed with panel discussions. Areas covered included Block Chain Solutions in the BFSI Industry, Analytics in Operations, Intelligent Automation in the Healthcare industry, Transforming Supply Chain through Robotics and The Internet of Things in Manufacturing.
