The new comprehensive digital platform is designed to be a training tool, sales companion and online community for travel agents across the globe. The rollout was in all of Visit California’s international markets. Agents can complete the training program, becoming certified California STARs themselves.
California STAR is a first-of-its-kind program, enabling operators and agents to turn their mobile devices into handheld California sales and training portals that can be accessed online, offline, anytime, anywhere. Dynamic training modules will allow agents to tackle questions in the office, on their daily commute, while watching TV or even on holiday sunning on a California beach.
The in addition to the training modules, the free app simplifies the selling process, giving agents access to instant expertise, as well as timely and evergreen content. Videos, brochures, itineraries and more can be shared with clients with just one tap.
