LIBA partners with National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) to offer Integrated Entrepreneurship Development Program

Chennai, November  2017 : Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) today announced its MoU with NSIC, Government of India, to host an intensive Entrepreneurship Development Program for the public concentrating on small business enterprise. With an aim to develop entrepreneurial abilities among the public, the program is set to throw light upon small business ventures both in manufacturing and service sector. The program is fully sponsored by the Government of India.

The program will act as a basis for acquiring soft skills that will help the participants to start small business. The month long program is scheduled from 27th November to 23rd December 2017 at LIBA campus. Additionally, the program will give an opportunity for the public to gain an understanding on various entrepreneur support schemes from the government and NSIC. The program will cover topics on innovation, creativity, effective communication skills, ways to start an industry, e-marketing and project selection & report preparation.

Commenting on the program, Dr.Siluvai Raja, Ph.D, co-ordinator at LIBA-Informatics Centre said, “We at LIBA, are happy to host Entrepreneurship Development Program in association with NSIC. We are confident that this program will benefit the participants and give them clarity in starting small business. This program will not only help the participants to acquire soft skill but will also support them financially in starting their own venture.”

Ms. Shanthi, Manager, NSCI said, “We would like to thank LIBA for organizing this Entrepreneurship Development Program and we would also like to appreciate the members of E-cell for facilitating the program. This program aims to promote small and budding entrepreneurs by providing them a platform to enhance their skills and to gain understanding on various entrepreneur support schemes. We see this program as a way to connect with the people and understand their needs.”
