Fr. Christie, Director of LIBA said, “LIBA INSIGHT’17 has been organized mainly to educate students about the ecosystem available for the entrepreneurs in India and, to learn from the successful entrepreneurs the challenges and opportunities. With the increase of start-ups in the state, we have set up an incubation centre as part of the C.K. Prahalad Centre for Emerging India. In fact the recent start-up policies announced by AICTE to encourage technical institutes will help in grooming and training the students to take entrepreneurial careers successfully. We hope to create 1,00,000 technology based student entrepreneurs in the next 10 years.”

Mr. R Ramaraj, Serial Entrepreneur and Senior Advisor, Elevar Equity said, “I think this the best time in the history of independent India to be graduating and entering into the business world. There is a fantastic shift in social acceptance compared to few years ago and there is a sincere effort by the government to create a vibrant ecosystem. Where there is a vibrant ecosystem, the probability of successful entrepreneurs goes up exponentially. Encouragement of incubators in institutes and outside is the starting point of an ecosystem.”

Mr. Girish Mathrubootham, CEO & Founder – Fresh Desk said, “I am very happy to be a part of LIBA INSIGHT’17 this year. Marketing plays a very crucial role in the success of business and entrepreneurs should learn the ability of controlled experiments, whilst maintaining work-life balance and playing to the strength is also very critical. Entrepreneurs vision should be to make India a product nation.”

LIBA Insight 2017 was concluded by motivating valedictory speech by Mr. G.S.K Velu, Chairman & Managing Director of Trivitron Healthcare Group of Companies who shared valuable stories from his entrepreneurial journey.
